Société Générale has teamed up with Universal's cult film Back to the Future and the French agency MNSTR to launch a new campaign promoting its range of collectors’ credit cards.
To bring the Back to the Future experience to life, Société Générale is unveiling a campaign that allows the general public to travel back in time through an immersive experience: interactive OOH/DOOH displays, digital content, a confluence solution developed with content creator Matdeuh (the French Zach King, with a TikTok following of 1.8 million) and a film directed by MNSTR, which transports you through the ages with the Back to the Future collection of cards.
“With this new collection our customers can select their new credit card according to personal preference and taste, from a catalogue of more than 180 images.
This campaign perfectly illustrates the DNA of the product, with users immersed in a Back to the Future universe. Through our collaboration with this cult film we want to offer a unique experience to our customers and fans,” says Vincent CHATENET, Head of Card Options at Société Générale.
“Working with a license as strong and mythical as Back to the Future, the greatest challenge of this campaign has been to position the new Société Générale collection of cards at the center of the story. The collector’s cards are the key to our promise of "a journey through time" and that was the starting point for the content and experiences imagined,” commented Audrey Mazet, Associate Agency Director MNSTR.
As for the poster campaign, it features a QR code for an interactive augmented reality experience, which allows participants to see the Delorean start up and take off into the sky (front cam), or sit in the driver’s seat of the mythical car (face camera)!
